An authentic Haute-Savoie resort, Châtel has all the shops, bars and restaurants you could need during your stay, as well as two cinemas, an ice rink and a bowling alley.
Outside the skiing season, the region is a paradise for hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. Guests can also try water sports on the River Dranse or Lake Vonnes.
At the end of the day, you can relax on the charming balcony of Coco Châtel and take in the fresh mountain air and the stunning views.
About the property…
Coco Châtel is an elegant two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment for up to six guests.
The entrance leads directly into the living area, which offers comfortable seating around the TV, a modern kitchen and a dining table where you can all eat together. The fully equipped kitchen has an induction hob, a double oven and an American-style fridge.
This living area opens onto a lovely furnished balcony, where a large sofa allows you to enjoy views of the mountains and valley.
Coco Châtel has one double bedroom and a comfortable bedroom for four people with two single beds at ground level and another two single beds on a platform above them. These bedrooms are served by a bathroom with bath and WC, a shower room and a separate WC. Finally, there’s a games room with a sofa and TV where children can do their own thing.
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the flat, as well as a parking space in the garage.
About the area…
Châtel is located in the Abondance Valley, on the French-Swiss border and 1.5 hour from Geneva Airport. This authentic and friendly resort is known for its village charm and traditional architecture, but also has many shops, restaurants and modern amenities. Châtel has been awarded the "Famille Plus" label for its programme of activities and facilities for children.
In winter, this Portes du Soleil resort is linked to Avoriaz, Torgon and Morgins by several ski lifts. Its altitude means it enjoys good snow cover. The resort has a snowpark, a boardercross course and a beginners' area, as well as slopes for intermediate and advanced skiers and several ski touring routes around the village.
During the rest of the year, cyclists enjoy the mountain roads, while the Châtel bike park offers 20 mountain bike trails. For hikers, there are around 400km of trails spread over 48 circuits. Lake Vonnes, just 1km from the village, is ideal for fishing and paddleboarding. Other activities include climbing, paragliding, via ferrata, tennis, rafting, kayaking, and the "Fantasticable" zip line that flies over the valley at 100kmph.

Nestled in a quiet corner of the Portes du Soleil, just a short walk from Châtel’s vibrant town centre, the chalet offers the best of both France and Switzerland. Completed in summer 2025, Coco Châtel blends modern design with Alpine charm.
With southwest-facing views of Châtel and the Abondance Valley, and the nearest ski lift only two minutes away, it’s ideal for both winter and summer escapes. The apartment is fully equipped for comfort and relaxation, whether you're exploring the mountains or enjoying quiet moments with friends.
